Role description
Our corporate client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a strategic digital transformation initiative focused on implementing a new Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and Customer Data Platform (CDP). This part-time, (20-30 hrs/week) 12-14 month contract role will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, implementation partners, and vendors, ensuring seamless integration across the organization's digital ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will gather and document business and technical requirements, analyze and optimize business processes, map data and system integrations, and support solution design, testing, deployment, and customer data initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions that improve customer experiences and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, validate, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements to support DXP and CDP implementations.
- Analyze current business processes and design future-state workflows aligned with organizational objectives.
- Translate business needs into user stories, process maps, use cases, and detailed functional specifications.
- Develop a deep understanding of the organization's digital technology ecosystem, including DXP, CDP, CRM, CMS, LMS, IAM, and community platforms.
- Document system capabilities, integration points, APIs, data dependencies, and business rules across platforms.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support solution design, system integration, testing, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Support Customer Data Platform implementation by documenting data requirements, integration workflows, and customer identity management processes.
- Map customer data across systems to enable unified customer profiles, audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Assist with configuration and validation of customer data, behavioral triggers, audience activation, and connected digital experiences.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams while identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
