Business Analyst – Cyber Security Contract Remote (US only) Overview A Utility Client of ours is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. This individual will be supporting some Cyber Security initiatives. If you have had experience with ADO, UAT, SailPoint and Service Now you would be a good fit for the role. Responsibilities Business Analyst Requirements 1. Requirements Gathering • Conduct stakeholder and user interviews • Facilitate meetings • Observe users (job shadowing), if needed • Distribute surveys or questionnaires • Review existing documentation and systems • Goal: Understand business needs and identify pain points 1. ADO (Azure DevOps) Support • Basic understanding of ADO functionality • Define user stories (Agile environment) • Create use cases and acceptance criteria • Goal: Clearly articulate system and process requirements 1. Business Process Modeling • Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) processes • Create diagrams using BPMN, flowcharts, or swimlane formats • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies • Goal: Visualize and optimize business workflows 1. Stakeholder Management • Identify key stakeholders, users, and application owners • Manage expectations and facilitate collaboration • Communicate updates and changes regularly • Goal: Ensure alignment across all parties 1. Solution Evaluation • Collaborate with the technical lead on solution design • Validate alignment with business requirements • Assist in assessing proposed solutions • Goal: Ensure solutions are valuable and practical 1. Testing Support • Review and develop test cases and test plans • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Validate implementation against requirements • Goal: Confirm the delivered product meets business needs 1. Change Management & Training • Support organizational change planning • Assist with rollout and user adoption of new systems/processes • Goal: Ensure smooth transition and readiness
