Role description
Role: Business Analyst (EDI) Location: Somerset, NJ - Onsite 1x a week Duration: 12 Month Contract + Extensions Required Skills & Experience β€’ EDI Experience β€’ Demonstrable experience as a product owner or business analyst for data management or EDI systems β€’ 3-5 years of experience in a corporate setting β€’ User story requirement experience This individual will be primarily responsible for managing IT project activities that will improve reliability and accuracy of our EDI datasets including ingestion, master data integration, configurations & setup, and system testing. They will manage projects that improve how data flows between systems like SAP and EDI platforms. These systems track orders, customers, and supply chain data. Day to day: β€’ Lead projects to support system upgrades and enhancements. Lead and support implementation of projects, ensuring clear and timely communication on status to key stakeholders. β€’ Ensure project adherence to all policies, procedures, regulations, and quality compliance (SOX, Cybersecurity) to be ready for internal and external audits. β€’ Collect, prioritize and document user requirements with clear acceptance criteria; translate into user stories and solution requirements for technical teams. β€’ Investigate and research to resolve issues, present the data and effectively communicate action plan and resolution to affiliates and leadership, as required. β€’ Develop deep knowledge of data sources processes, EDI connections, internal systems, and our data environment. β€’ Support with ongoing maintenance of EDI data tools, including escalating missing files and supporting with Master Data Change tasks β€’ Audit supplier data and create reporting Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Compensation: $30hr to $37hr
