Business Analyst - EDW

Contract to hire opportunity for qualified Business System Analyst to join our client's staff. NO THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED, SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE We are seeking an experienced EDW Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and enterprise data warehousing, with experience leading BSA activities and guiding project teams. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to support data modeling, mapping, and warehousing initiatives while ensuring best practices are followed. Key Responsibilities: • Lead BSA activities on enterprise data warehousing projects. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define solutions. • Perform data mapping and analysis, creating source-to-target mappings. • Support data modeling efforts using Erwin or similar tools. • Ensure adherence to enterprise data warehousing standards and best practices. • Mentor and guide other BSAs on project teams. • Prioritize and execute multiple tasks across concurrent projects. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the financial services or banking industry. • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS S3. • Strong data modeling and mapping skills. • Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to lead BSA teams or initiatives. Technical Skills: • Minimum 3 years of experience using SQL or equivalent query tools. • Experience with AWS Snowflake cloud data warehouse. Nice to Have: • Experience conducting data mapping analysis.
