Summary Do you have experience of providing business analysis expertise, on an e-commerce project? This consulting opportunity is to support our client (a leading multi-national gaming and entertainment company), in ensuring their digital innovation programme successfully delivers a seamless and high-performing eCommerce solution that optimises customer experience, streamlines order management and enables future growth across global markets. The project needs a skilled consultant who has: • extensive business analysis experience and can quickly immerse themselves in this role • a proven track record supporting implementation of online retail or digital commerce platforms such as Shopify • excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and can bridge the gap between business and technical audiences. Key services: The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: • Conduct gap analyses (AS IS and TO BE) and define process improvements to optimise customer experience and business efficiency • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and working sessions to elicit, validate, and prioritise requirements • Develop and maintain high-quality BA artefacts including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Process Maps, and User Stories • Collaborate with key stakeholders across time zones ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions • Support platform configuration, and implementation activities (e.g. Shopify and Deck Commerce) • Provide ongoing support during testing, deployment, and post-implementation review phases. Mandatory Requirements: Successful consultant will be able to demonstrate the following: • Hands-on Business Analyst experience supporting eCommerce or online retail platform delivery (preferably Shopify) • Proficiency in documenting functional and non-functional requirements, process mapping (e.g., BPMN), and user journey definition • Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, customer experience design, and order fulfilment processes • Solid understanding of technical architecture, data models and system integration principles • Excellent stakeholder management skills • Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Optional Requirements: It will also be advantageous if you have: • Experience of Shopify implementations.
