Primary Services is excited to announce the role of IT Business Analyst for a major enterprise client. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in IT systems, software development life cycles, and data-driven analysis to translate complex business requirements into actionable functional and technical solutions. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT and business transformation projects across multiple enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for IT systems and applications.
β’ Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, process flows, and use cases.
β’ Support end-to-end project lifecycle, including solution design, testing (UAT, integration, performance), and deployment.
β’ Develop and maintain system documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, workflow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
β’ Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies for proposed system enhancements.
β’ Partner with QA teams to orchestrate testing processes, including the design of test cases and validation to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements.
β’ Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement review sessions.
β’ Ensure compliance with IT standards, security protocols, and governance policies.
β’ Act as a liaison between business units, IT development teams, and external 3rd party software or integration vendors.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development projects.
β’ Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
β’ Experience writing detailed business, functional, and technical requirements, as well as user stories.
β’ Proficiency with SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
β’ Experience with APIs, integrations, and system interfaces.
β’ Knowledge of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, web applications, or custom-built platforms (on-prem or cloud).
β’ Familiarity with testing practices, including test plans, test scenarios, and execution of multiple testing phases.
β’ Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
β’ Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps is desirable.
β’ Domain knowledge in energy, utilities, oil, gas, or financial services is advantageous.
