

Business Analyst
Salary: $54.15 to $62.70 hourly
Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between business operations and IT, driving improvements in system processes, reporting functionality, and workflow automation. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and technical expertise to deliver impactful solutions for stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Extract and transform data from warehouses to prepare for seamless integration into NetSuite, ensuring accurate mapping of client purchase order options.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to oversee script execution and successful system implementations.
• Develop comprehensive billing reports designed for end-users with limited data manipulation experience, ensuring clarity and usability.
• Conduct training sessions, such as lunch-and-learns, to enhance billing teams’ proficiency with tools like pivot tables and data visualization.
• Enhance organizational reporting by creating actionable data views and automating HR processes related to onboarding, position changes, and promotions.
• Identify opportunities for automation in employee data workflows and operational processes to improve efficiency.
• Partner with IT and leadership teams to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and track project progress.
• Manage stakeholder communication to ensure alignment with business goals and expectations.
• Implement minor system adjustments to streamline workflows and enhance reporting clarity.
• Lead initiatives to optimize processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Excel, and SQL Server.
• Expertise in data mapping, preparation, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and HR systems.
• Experience with automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of business process functions, gap analysis, and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
