Business Analyst

ROLE: Contract role / Outside of IR35 DURATION: 12 months START DATE: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that digital products and systems are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value. A strong focus on data analysis is essential to support decision-making and continuous improvement . Responsibilitie • s:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirement • s.Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development team • s.Work closely with software engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business objective • s.Conduct gap analyses, process mapping, and data modelling to support solution desig • n.Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and reviews to drive agile deliver • y.Support testing and validation efforts, including UAT coordination and defect triag • e.Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issue • s.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automatio • n.Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decision • s.Support data-driven decision-making by presenting findings in a clear and actionable forma t. Skills & Experien • ce:Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical or enterprise environme • nt.Experience in data sourcing, modeling, and entity mapping, with expertise in interpreting and applying business rules that drive data behavi • or.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologi • es.Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, SQL, and data visualization platfor • ms.Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical and data concepts to non-technical stakeholde • rs.Experience with APIs, data integration, and enterprise systems is a pl • us.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skil ls.
