Primary Skills: Messaging Connectivity & Protocols (Expert), SQL (Advanced), Business & Technical Analysis (Advanced), Reconciliation & Data Normalization (Expert), Capital Markets and Trading (Proficient) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 6 Months Location: New York () / Remote near NY office Pay Range: $95 - $100 per hour on W2 #LP Job Summary This role is crucial in supporting Global Trading Solutions within Capital Markets, focusing on analyzing and onboarding systems to the GMTC platform for trading data ingestion and normalization. The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with both technology and business teams, requiring a robust understanding of financial markets, solid SQL skills, and familiarity with various messaging protocols. This position offers a 6-month tenure with a possibility of extension, accommodating a hybrid or remote working arrangement from our New York office. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with Capital Markets teams to document existing workflows and data requirements. • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system onboarding to the GMTC platform, focusing on connectivity solutions. • Troubleshoot technical issues, engage in data normalization processes with the Capital Markets Data Architecture group. • Implement data models and workflows for ingesting and normalizing trading data. • Maintain thorough documentation for system workflows, bug/enhancement tracking, and technical resolutions. Must-Have Skills: • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with financial markets. • Experience with messaging protocols (MQ, FIX, Kafka). • Proven ability in workflow documentation and technical troubleshooting. Industry Experience: Ideal candidates will possess experience within the finance or capital markets sector, particularly with trading systems or trade support environments. Familiarity with trade workflows, reconciliation tools, and processes is highly advantageous.
