Role description
Primary Locations: Mount Laurel, NJ | New York, NY Secondary: Charlotte, NC | Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Summary: The Business Support Analyst (FIS Systematics) will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing FIS Systematics applications to meet business and technology needs. This role involves deep technical and functional understanding of Systematics modules, business systems analysis, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze, design, and implement configurations/customizations in FIS Systematics modules (RM, IM, ST, FM, and optional: HX, TX, IT, GN, SC, MA). • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. • Conduct manual functional testing, review unit/technical testing results, and ensure quality assurance. • Perform application balancing and GL reconciliations. • Develop user process documentation and assist with production support. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes. • Participate in Agile and Waterfall project lifecycles, including sprint planning and reviews. • Support automation of mainframe processes using terminal emulator macros. Top Must-Have Skills: • 4–10 years of experience in FIS Systematics (Fidelity Information Services). • Hands-on BSA experience in financial or service company environments (TD, Fidelity, etc.). • Strong knowledge of Systematics key program functions & logic. Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years as a Business Systems Analyst working directly on FIS Systematics applications. • Experience with 2+ Systematics modules: RM, IM, ST, FM (others optional). • Technical proficiency in: • Mainframe tools: TSO/ISPF, CAVIEW, SDSF, PDS, Endevor, File-Aid. • Programming: COBOL (basic understanding), Easytrieve (report creation, data extraction). • Software: Excel, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Monarch. • Ability to read/copy/create datasets and map copybooks to files. • Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to lead meetings and present to technical and business teams. • Proven success working in cross-functional and remote teams.
