Business Analyst

Overview We are seeking a Technology Business Analyst to support enterprise data transformation and technical solutions initiatives. This role will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate complex requirements into scalable, high-impact solutions across data platforms and enterprise systems. You’ll partner closely with Product Owners, architects, and engineering teams to drive delivery in an Agile environment while ensuring alignment across business and IT. Key Responsibilities • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable deliverables • Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for new initiatives and enhancements • Convert business needs into detailed user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria • Support delivery of data platforms, pipelines, governance solutions, and computational systems • Collaborate with architects and engineers to align solutions with platform standards, scalability, and compliance requirements • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives • Own backlog prioritization and sequencing with awareness of dependencies and roadmap alignment • Monitor team velocity, delivery progress, and overall process efficiency • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders • Support CI/CD processes, observability practices, and data workflows • Coordinate implementation efforts including testing, training, and cross-functional communication • Act as a product ambassador and primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries • Perform trade-off analysis to influence product decisions • Troubleshoot issues and drive resolution through critical thinking Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 4+ years of experience as a Technical or Technology Business Analyst • Strong experience working in Agile environments • Proven ability to write detailed technical requirements and acceptance criteria • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and Agile ceremonies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools (GCP, Kafka, Confluent, Apigee) • Understanding of data governance and data-as-a-product principles • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern data workflows • Project management or delivery coordination experience
