Salary commensurate with experience β€’ Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support our client's project. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and validating business and technical requirements for initiatives under Technical and Data Services, which includes advisory support for policy, compliance, and data integration. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between policy interpretation and technical implementation. Duties β€’ Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders. β€’ Review and analyze government policies, bills, and official documents (including HR.1 and similar legislation) to ensure compliance. β€’ Collaborate with project teams to align requirements with NYS Department of Health (DOH) standards. β€’ Support Project Management activities by tracking requirements and deliverables. β€’ Work with data teams to ensure requirements for data warehouse integration and reporting are clear and actionable. β€’ Prepare detailed business process documentation and workflow diagrams. β€’ Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes. β€’ Communicate requirements clearly to technical teams and business stakeholders. Mandatory Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation. β€’ Ability to interpret government policies, bills, and compliance requirements. β€’ Familiarity with data warehouses and reporting systems. β€’ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Qualifications: β€’ Prior experience with NYS Department of Health (DOH) projects. β€’ Knowledge of Medicaid 1115 Waiver programs. β€’ Experience in public sector IT projects and compliance advisory.
