Job Description:
We are seeking BA to support HR data classification and data governance initiatives across the HR division. In this assignment, you will assist with HR data asset classification needs and support Data Owners and Product Owners with classifying data to align to firm-wide guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data classification or management
• Familiarity with data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality monitoring practices/tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with HR data domains, HR processes, employee platform data, and data privacy/regulatory considerations.
• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Classify, organize, and maintain HR data assets aligned to governance frameworks, internal standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain metadata and catalog artifacts, including data access models and documentation to improve discoverability, lineage, and trust.
• Identify and implement process improvements related to data management, access control, governance workflows, and documentation quality.
• Support delivery management: project planning inputs, milestone tracking, RAID/status reporting, and stakeholder updates for data initiatives.
Deliverables (Examples)
• Updated data classification and data asset inventory for HR domains
• Improved data catalog/metadata coverage (definitions, ownership, access instructions)
• Governance workflow documentation and operating procedures
