ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our Client is a leading consulting firm engaged in ongoing technology consulting projects. They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a long-term contract with a hybrid work schedule in Irving, Texas, with a strong possibility of conversion to full time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role requires a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst who can work independently and take ownership of initiatives from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with AWS, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to write clear, detailed user stories that drive development and deliver business value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals, scope, and outcomes
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed business and functional requirements
• Write clear, complete, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria to support Agile development and QA efforts
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives
• Analyze business problems and propose solutions aligned with digital and user experience strategies
• Create and maintain wireframes, process flows, and supporting documentation
• Track and manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with UX and UI designers to ensure cohesive digital experiences
• Lead or support User Acceptance Testing including test case development and defect tracking
• Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Proven experience working with AWS and a handson technical background
• Proven experience writing highquality user stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working independently and driving tasks forward without constant supervision
• Consulting background a plus
• Experience in Agile environments including Scrum or Kanban
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document complex business needs
• Strong reputation for creativity, flexibility, versatility, and problem solving
• Ability and desire to learn and solve problems quickly in a fastpaced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMIPBA, CSPO, or SAFe are a plus

• Comes from a technical background
