Business Analyst I

Peak Performers has partnered with a healthcare organization to assist in their search for a remote Business Analyst I. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing provider data, identifying trends and errors within large datasets, and ensuring the accuracy of information maintained in internal systems and provider directories. Major duties • Review and process provider-submitted updates within a work-in-progress queue, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. • Analyze large datasets using Excel to identify trends, detect errors, and recommend data corrections or process improvements. • Audit provider data to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the online provider directory and internal systems. • Research discrepancies and coordinate updates across multiple systems to ensure consistent and reliable provider data. • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, including occasional written communication with providers regarding data updates. What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. • 1–3 years of experience in business process analysis, data analysis, or a related analytical role. • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH functions. • Demonstrated analytical ability to interpret raw data, perform trend analysis, detect errors, and make recommendations based on findings. • Experience working with large datasets; background in insurance or healthcare environments is a plus. • Exposure to working with data from external systems or databases (SQL experience is helpful but not required).
