Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.
Job Summary:
This position offers an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise in business systems analysis while supporting critical operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user requirements, ensuring that technical solutions align with broader organizational strategies. This role provides hands-on experience in a unique industry setting, offering exposure to complex logistics operations involving multiple manufacturers and diverse stakeholders. Working under direct supervision, you will follow established guidelines and procedures while building foundational knowledge in systems analysis, data management, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze business systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Evaluate user needs and translate requirements into actionable system specifications
Support the development and implementation of systems that align with overall business strategies
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across multiple computer systems
Assist in documenting processes and procedures to ensure clear communication across teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support system enhancements
Monitor system performance and report findings to management
Participate in testing and validation of system changes and updates
Maintain organized documentation of analysis activities and outcomes
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Experience with Business Analytics Applications (BAA)
Basic coding or programming knowledge
Strong data analysis capabilities
Excellent documentation skills with ability to communicate technical information clearly
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
Ability to work effectively across multiple computer systems simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Willingness to learn and demonstrate curiosity in problem-solving
Experience:
1-2 years of relevant professional experience required
Previous experience with data entry and inter-computer system work preferred
Demonstrated stable employment history
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, or related field required
