Business Analyst - IBOR & ABOR Concepts

Job Title : Business Analyst Location : New York , NY | Hybrid Job Description: • Bachelor's degree or Maters Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 9+ Years of relevant experience • Support analysis of trade position holding valuation and reference data • Assist in understanding the investment trade lifecycle across front office middle office and back office systems • Gain hands on exposure to IBOR and ABOR concepts and data flows • Support documentation of business requirements and functional understanding • Execute standard SQL queries to validate investment data • Assist with IBOR vs ABOR reconciliations identifying basic breaks and variances • Perform data completeness accuracy and consistency checks • Validate downstream reports against source data under supervision • Support creation of Data Documentation Governance including Data dictionaries Source to target mappings Basic data lineage documentation • Assist in documenting known data issues assumptions and resolutions • Follow defined data governance and quality standards • Work with senior analysts QA and data engineering teams to investigate issues • Participate in Agile ceremonies standups backlog grooming • Track defects and action items using enterprise tools JIRA Azure DevOps • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex billing issues. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
