Business Systems Analyst Mid | Enterprise Oracle DBA Operations We’re looking for a Mid-Level Business Systems Analyst with strong Oracle DBA operational support experience to join a leading enterprise technology environment in Baltimore, MD. This is a long-term onsite contract opportunity with strong potential for extensions and eventual conversion. If you have hands-on experience supporting Oracle databases, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and GoldenGate environments, this role offers the chance to work on mission-critical systems while driving operational excellence and reliability. What You’ll Do: • Support enterprise Oracle database environments and Oracle Enterprise Manager administration • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle database performance and reliability • Administer and support Oracle GoldenGate replication environments • Perform database performance analysis, capacity planning, and SQL query optimization • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements • Develop system specifications, operational procedures, and technical documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database and infrastructure solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex database and production support issues • Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation processes within Unix/Linux environments • Participate in incident management processes and on-call rotation support • Support compliance initiatives, operational standards, and best practices • Lead or contribute to small-to-medium infrastructure and database projects • Create knowledge articles, user documentation, and training materials What You Bring: • Mid-level experience supporting enterprise Oracle database environments • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration and Oracle Enterprise Manager • Experience supporting Oracle GoldenGate replication environments • Advanced SQL query writing, troubleshooting, and optimization skills • Experience with database performance tuning and capacity planning • Strong Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting experience • Experience monitoring, documenting, and maintaining enterprise database systems • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience supporting production and operational database environments • Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management is a plus • Experience with enterprise monitoring and automation tools preferred Top performers are proactive problem-solvers, strong communicators, and team-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced enterprise environments while maintaining high standards for reliability, accuracy, and operational excellence. 📍 Location: 21231, Baltimore, Maryland, United States (Hybrid) 💵 Pay: $60– $65/hour.
