Business Analyst

Robert Half's client is seeking a Digital Business Analyst with extensive experience as a full-time business analyst. This is a long-term contract position that will work onsite 4 days per week in Torrance, CA. Role Requirements: • Must have extensive experience as a full-time business analyst. • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as this is a client-facing role. • Ability to perform some scrum duties/light project management, as needed. • Ability to identify, create, prioritize, and groom user stories, acceptance criteria, and document key decisions • Ability to create test preparation documents, write test scripts, execute test scripts and manage defects. • Experience working on digital products (website, service console, mobile app) and a production support team • Experience with waterfall, agile and product management frameworks & processes. • Tools Experience: Azure DevOps, Clarity, MS Visio, SharePoint or similar. • Experience & knowledge of Salesforce and other financial services systems • Experience with financial services e.g. Loan origination/servicing/insurance or captive finance Soft Skills: • Ability to operate independently as a driver of projects vs tracking project • Articulate and confident when speaking and leading meetings • Ability to take good meeting notes, formatting of deliverables, verbiage Certifications: • CBAP, AAC, CPOA or equivalent certifications from IIBA
