Business Analyst II

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Business Analyst II with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $51.00 - $56.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Description Process Analyst • Support quality assurance activities, including the development and execution of quality assurance plans, test plans, validation activities, and release readiness assessments. • Support change management efforts to drive successful product implementation, stakeholder engagement, and adoption. • Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies or cost savings. • Analyze business processes, operational data, data quality and availability, and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. • Perform ad hoc analysis both process and data to answer business questions, uncover emerging trends, and provide actionable, data-driven insights that support decision-making. • Utilize data to help teams evaluate opportunities, develop solutions, and measure business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience conducting business and user research and translating findings into business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within Jira. • Knowledge of and ability to lead key process improvement activities within a product team, including: • Process mapping and analysis • Process design and optimization • Methods development • Performance standard and KPI/metric development • ROI and cost-benefit analysis • Financial reviews Desired Technical Skills • Jira and Agile methodologies • Business process documentation and requirements gathering • Data analysis and reporting • Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools • SQL or experience querying and validating data • Root cause analysis and problem-solving • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
