Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing team within a leading national financial institution. This role supports Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) reporting and analytics, working with large datasets, regulatory data, and business intelligence tools to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective performance monitoring.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of analytics/system support experience
• OR 7+ years of analytics/reporting experience.
• Advanced expertise in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.).
• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards.
• Experience working with large, structured datasets.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Knowledge of CRA or similar regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Background in reporting automation and process improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; collaborative team mindset.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau/Power BI.
• Perform advanced data preparation and automation using Excel.
• Manage and analyze large structured datasets for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting.
• Support CRA-related reporting, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and regulatory alignment.
• Prepare recurring CRA submissions and respond to internal audit and leadership requests.
• Improve reporting processes, documentation, and automation across the CRA lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Community Development, and business units; communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
