

Business Analyst III (Contingent)

Job Summary: In this role, you will serve as a Business Analyst within our high-tech company's Support Engineering Team. You will be the initial point of contact for customer support, managing a significant volume of tickets weekly. Your responsibilities will include analyzing customer issues, creating and maintaining dashboards using Tableau and AWS QuickSight, performing SQL queries to extract data, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer service processes.
Responsibilities
• First Responder for high severity events
• Act as the first line of defense in customer support, handling approximately 700 tickets a week.
• Analyze customer issues and validate pain points against system records.
• Triage tickets to the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau and AWS QuickSight.
• Perform basic SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Utilize data to identify and alleviate customer pain points and check for recurring issues.
• Participate in ad-hoc Chime calls to address urgent customer concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer service processes.
Skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
• Experience with basic SQL queries.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining automated dashboards.
• Familiarity with Tableau and AWS QuickSight.
• Ability to handle a high volume of tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer support or app development role. Knowledge of advanced SQL querying. Experience with other data visualization tools.
