Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Business Analyst III for an onsite contract role to support the Smart Metering Program, deploying the latest gas metering infrastructure and systems across multiple states. This role is part of a larger program team delivering a 5-7 year roadmap for the next generations of smart metering and devices. Responsibilities:
β’ Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
β’ Performing metering deployment requirements gathering and analysis across multiple workstreams
β’ Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings via Teams
β’ Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
β’ Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and the program management team
β’ Gathering critical metering deployment information from meetings with various stakeholders to align deployment interdependencies
β’ Work closely with project team, operations, and managerial staff
β’ Ensure deployment solutions meet business needs and requirements
β’ Communicate technical meter specification changes and document progress against planned milestones
β’ Developing integration test plans for gas metering systems across internal and external environments
β’ Data mapping from a client server application to SAP from end-user requirements
β’ Performing end-user acceptance testing as part of the project team
β’ Validating meter data across an IT architecture solution, end-to-end
β’ Updating and maintaining metering best practices and procedures
β’ Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
β’ Serving as a liaison between program stakeholders and metering end-users
β’ Guiding standardization and IT testing best practices with cross-functional teams
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or relevant field required
β’ 5-7 years of experience required
β’ Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Office, Power BI, SAP, and Google BigQuery
β’ Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
β’ Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
β’ Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed
β’ Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
β’ Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
