Business Analyst – Inventory & Supply Chain | Inventory Analytics & Reporting | Hybrid A leading industrial manufacturing organization is looking for a sharp, data-driven Business Process Analyst to join a high-visibility team focused on inventory analytics, reporting, and operational insights. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, solving business problems, and partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product Management, and Sourcing teams. Location: Hybrid — Milwaukee, WI Schedule: Typically 2–3 days onsite per week What You'll Be Doing: • Lead monthly and quarterly inventory reserve reviews, including slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory analysis • Analyze inventory aging trends and provide recommendations that support financial and operational decision-making • Partner with Finance, Operations, Product Management, and Sourcing teams to identify business drivers and inventory risks • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools • Deliver clear insights and reporting for leadership presentations and business reviews • Support ad hoc analysis tied to cost savings, productivity, spend visibility, and operational performance • Work with large datasets using Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools to identify trends and opportunities • Help drive continuous improvement initiatives through accurate reporting and data visibility What They're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, finance, supply chain, or related business functions • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Comfortable balancing recurring reporting responsibilities with fast-moving ad hoc requests Nice to Have: • Experience with inventory reserve or excess & obsolete (E&O) analysis • Power BI, Tableau, or dashboarding experience • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience • Exposure to cost accounting concepts • Lean or continuous improvement experience This team is looking for someone who can step in, make an impact quickly, and help bring visibility and structure to critical inventory and operational reporting initiatives.
