Role description
Business Analyst - Insurance Claims | £400 Per Day (Outside IR35)
We're working with one of the UK’s most prestigious insurance powerhouses on this exciting opportunity. They are a market leader in risk management and are currently undergoing a massive digital overhaul of their core service offerings.
Step into a high-impact Claims Transformation Programme where you will lead the charge in integrating cutting-edge claims automation tools with core policy administration and payment platforms. This is a chance to drive automation-led solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment, utilizing technologies like SQL, Jira, and Confluence to reshape customer outcomes.
The Role
• Lead deep-dive analysis of current E2E claims processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for intelligent automation.
• Map complex "To-Be" future-state solutions that enhance control, compliance, and speed of delivery within a regulated environment.
• Act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and third-party software suppliers to ensure seamless integration with core insurance platforms.
• Facilitate high-energy workshops and technical elicitation sessions to define cross-functional requirements for claims platforms and payment systems.
• Support the entire delivery lifecycle from initial concept through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and successful go-live.
What You'll Need
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst specifically within the General Insurance sector (Claims experience is highly preferred).
• Deep familiarity with Insurance Claims Platforms and core policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or bespoke legacy systems).
• Expert proficiency in Agile methodologies, managing backlogs in Jira, and documenting technical workflows in Confluence.
• Strong track record of delivering automation-focused projects and managing integrations with third-party vendors.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate high-pressure, regulated environments and facilitate workshops.
What's On Offer
• Competitive day rate of £400 Per Day - Outside IR35.
• 100% Fully Remote / Work from home flexibility from anywhere in the UK.
• Long-term stability with an initial 6-month contract and high potential for extension.
• Direct involvement in a major, high-profile digital transformation for a UK industry leader.
