Role description
Key Responsibilities
β’ Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and process flows
for E-commerce and Omni-Channel initiatives.
β’ Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors to
ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
β’ Lead and support re-platforming projects, ensuring smooth transition of systems and processes
to new platforms.
β’ Engage stakeholders proactively to manage conflicting requirements, build consensus, and
ensure business buy-in.
β’ Work in environments with limited structure, developing documentation, standards, and
processes where needed.
β’ Perform gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to support strategic decisionmaking.
β’ Support QA teams by reviewing test plans, validating test cases, and ensuring requirements
traceability.
β’ Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and cross-functional meetings to drive
clarity and alignment.
β’ Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
β’ Communicate effectively with senior management, providing updates on project status, risks,
and dependencies.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ 8+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Fashion, Retail, or
Apparel industry.
β’ Extensive experience in E-commerce and Omni-Channel systems, with prior involvement in replatforming projects.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work in unstructured environments with minimal documentation and
conflicting requirements.
β’ Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
β’ Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, adapting as required by the project
context.
β’ Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
β’ Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
β’ Ability to thrive in challenging, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience working with global fashion or retail brands on digital transformation initiatives.
β’ Knowledge of Ecom Systems., CRM, and supply chain systems supporting Omni-Channel
operations.
β’ Understanding of data-driven decision-making and reporting tools (BI/Analytics).
β’ Exposure to UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping in digital commerce settings.
β’ Ability to mentor junior business analysts and foster best practices within the team.
