Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to support a strategic Data Warehouse initiative within our Bank division. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in Derivatives, Finance, Cash, Loans, and Commitments, along with a strong understanding of Regulatory Reporting requirements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to define and deliver robust data solutions that support compliance, reporting, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with business users and technology teams to gather and document requirements for data warehousing solutions.
β’ Analyze and map data from source systems (trading, finance, risk) into the enterprise data warehouse.
β’ Define data models, transformation rules, and business logic for derivatives, loans, cash, and commitment products.
β’ Support the design and implementation of regulatory reporting data pipelines (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Basel III).
β’ Conduct data profiling, gap analysis, and validation to ensure data quality and completeness.
β’ Create detailed functional specifications, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation.
β’ Work with QA and UAT teams to define test cases and validate data warehouse outputs.
β’ Act as a liaison between business, compliance, and IT to ensure alignment on data requirements and delivery timelines.
β’ Support ongoing enhancements and change requests related to regulatory and business reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
β’ Strong understanding of financial products, especially derivatives, loans, and cash instruments.
β’ Proven experience in data warehousing projects, including data modeling and ETL processes.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, SFTR).
β’ Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
β’ Experience working with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, databricks, Teradata).
β’ Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
β’ Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
β’ Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
