Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to lead the migration and adoption of Microsoft Planner and Project Online as core tools for project management and collaboration across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 productivity tools and proven experience implementing, configuring, and training teams on MS Planner, Project Online, and Teams-integrated workflows.
This role will bridge business requirements with technical implementation—analyzing current project tracking processes, defining future-state workflows, and driving user adoption of Planner and Project Online.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary business liaison for the transition to Microsoft Planner and Project Online.
Analyze existing project management processes, templates, and tools to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop and document business requirements, workflows, and governance for project planning and tracking within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Partner with IT and PMO leadership to configure Planner/Project Online environments, including permissions, templates, and reporting dashboards.
Support data migration from legacy tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint lists) into Planner and Project Online.
Define reporting needs and support creation of dashboards in Power BI or Project Online reports.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support validation of business and technical requirements.
Create training materials, quick reference guides, and conduct user workshops to drive adoption.
Provide post-launch support and continuous improvement recommendations.
