Role: Business Analyst ( Only Locals to Texas) Duration: 4 Months Work location: Austin, TX Responsibilties • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to align solutions with overall business strategies • Lead business process reengineering initiatives and apply industry-standard process mapping methodologies • Prepare solution options, identify risks, and perform financial analyses including cost/benefit, ROI, and buy vs. build assessments • Elicit, define, and document detailed business and technical requirements for technology migration projects • Translate business rules into technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope • Perform data mapping and transformation from legacy systems to target systems, ensuring data integrity • Conduct gap analysis to identify functional and data discrepancies, proposing data cleansing and process improvements • Define test cases, validate data accuracy, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful migration • Facilitate stakeholder communication, manage risks, and support documentation, user manuals, and training materials Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications • 5+ years of experience performing data analysis from databases using SQL • 5+ years of experience creating user interface mock-ups • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) • 5+ years of experience writing detailed test cases and test scripts • 5+ years of experience testing batch jobs and web services • 5+ years of experience working on projects following Agile development methodologies (Preferred) • 5+ years of experience working with Agile development methodologies
