Role description
Eden Scott is supporting a leading Financial Services Company in the search for a Business Analyst to join the Payments team within Operations, this is a day rate role for 9- 12 months
This role focuses on the governance, oversight and control of intermediary payments across EMEA, ensuring regulatory compliance, transparency and robust risk management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Business Analyst to gain exposure to a large-scale transformation programme, working across business, data and regulatory change initiatives.
You will support senior analysts, and delivery leads in the design and implementation of improvements to the intermediary paymentβs framework.
The role offers hands-on experience across business analysis, data work, stakeholder engagement and project delivery, with strong support and development opportunities within a high-profile programme.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Support the analysis and documentation of business and data requirements for a strategic payments data repository
β’ Assist in defining data requirements, data mapping and validation rules
β’ Support data migration activities, including data reconciliation and issue tracking
β’ Help identify and document data quality issues and exceptions, escalating where required
β’ Work with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure requirements are understood and delivered
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders across Distribution, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Technology
β’ Assist in documenting processes, controls and operating procedures to support regulatory and audit requirements
β’ Contribute to governance activities, including maintaining:
β’ Requirements logs
β’ Risks and issues trackers
β’ Project documentation
β’ Assist with the delivery of operating model changes and readiness activities
Key Skills & Experience
β’ 2β3 yearsβ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within financial services
β’ Basic understanding of asset management operations (middle/back office desirable)
β’ Exposure to data analysis, data mapping or data quality activities
β’ Strong organisational and documentation skills
β’ Good communication skills with confidence working with a range of stakeholders
β’ Ability to work in a structured project environment
β’ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
β’ Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
