Role description
Job Title: Payments Business Analyst Overview This role supports new product offerings and strategic initiatives within the payments domain. The team works across multiple payment rails and partners closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Systems Analysts, and Operations to deliver secure, compliant payment solutions. Responsibilities • Support Agile delivery teams by defining and documenting business requirements • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation • Partner with product and technology teams to support new payment initiatives • Develop training materials and business documentation for new functionality releases • Support risk identification and mitigation within payment processes • Provide release validation, user acceptance testing, and post-release support Required Experience and Skills • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst • Strong payments domain expertise, including wires and SWIFT • Experience with ISO 20022 messaging and MP to MX migration • Hands-on knowledge of SWIFT payments and wire processing Preferred Qualifications • Experience across ACH, chips, immediate payments, faster payments, or real-time payments • Certifications in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or Agile methodologies • Experience using Jira and Confluence • Working knowledge of SQL
