Business Analyst
Contract Duration: 12-36 months
Pay - $ 68-90/ Hourly/ W-2
Responsibilities:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to support commercial analytics initiatives in the Ridgefield, CT area. Remote work is available, but the role requires working EST hours.
Provide analytical support across multiple customer groups and therapeutic areas, leveraging advanced statistical methodologies to measure marketing impact.
Lead sophisticated analytics projects including marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, promotional effectiveness, customer profiling, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
Conduct and interpret advanced analytics to guide decisions on promotional strategies, brand planning, field force optimization, digital/virtual engagement, and forecasting inputs.
Support promotional resource allocation, digital channel strategy, and evolution of commercial models.
Act as a strategic liaison between Marketing and Sales to develop effective business tactics and initiatives.
Execute departmental procedures and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing strategies align with sales force call plans (in-person, virtual, and non-personal digital channels).
Communicate analytical insights to internal customers, ensuring results are understood and effectively utilized.
Build and share expertise in analytical methodologies, tools, and high-quality external vendors, including digital agencies.
Develop strong work habits that support evolving business processes and execution needs within therapeutic areas.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelorβs degree with at least 7 years of analytics experience, or a Masterβs degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant analytical roles.
Strong preference for experience working with large, deidentified patient claims datasets.
Experience in metabolic therapeutic areas, particularly CardioRenal Metabolic conditions (e.g., Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart Failure), is highly desirable.
Prior experience working in a large pharmaceutical manufacturer is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to develop, document, and communicate analytical plans.
Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques such as multivariate analysis and promotional responsiveness modeling.
Experience in digital analytics across non-personal marketing channels (email, banner ads, mobile, alerts) or a demonstrated interest in digital technology.
Hands-on experience analyzing marketing campaigns, conducting in-campaign performance analytics, and working with consumer marketing databases.
Strong capability in understanding customer needs, incorporating insights into deliverables, and ensuring actionable recommendations.
Ability to integrate insights from multiple sources (e.g., market research, forecasts) into comprehensive analytics and recommendations.
Technical proficiency in R, Python, and/or SAS, along with SQL and other data extraction/analysis tools. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be available to work regular business hours aligned with the EST time zone.
