Business Analyst – Planning (SAP IBP / SAP S/4HANA) Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite – 4 to 5 days/week) Client: Everpure Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 months initially (likely to extend to 12–18 months) Job Summary We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP IBP implementation projects. The role focuses on Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Materials Management. The candidate will work with business users, SAP consultants, and project teams to gather requirements, document processes, support testing, and ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities • Gather and document business requirements. • Create and maintain business process documentation (As-Is & To-Be). • Work with business stakeholders, SMEs, and SAP functional teams. • Support SAP implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements. • Prepare functional documents, process flows, and business scenarios. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including: • Test planning • Test script creation • Test execution • Defect tracking using Jira/XRay • Test reporting • Validate migrated data and support master data activities. • Track project issues, risks, and action items. • Assist with user training, go-live, hypercare, and post-production support. Required Skills • 3+ years of experience as a: • Business Analyst • Functional Analyst • Supply Chain Analyst • Planning Analyst • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation (mandatory). • Experience with SAP IBP or ERP implementation projects. • Knowledge of one or more of the following: • Demand Planning • Supply Planning • Materials Management (MM) • Supply Chain Planning • DFM Operations • Configure-to-Order (CTO) • Experience gathering business requirements and process documentation. • Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and data validation. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • SAP IBP • SAP S/4HANA • ERP Implementation • Supply Chain Transformation • Jira & XRay • Business Process Mapping • Data Migration & Master Data Validation • Go-Live & Hypercare Support Industry Experience (Preferred) Experience in one or more of the following: • High-Tech Manufacturing • Semiconductor • Electronics • Networking • Data Storage Additional Information • Onsite: 4–5 days per week in Santa Clara. • Interview Process: 2–3 rounds (may include an in-person interview for local candidates). • Strong preference for candidates with SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
