About the Company
Our Investment Management client is looking to hire a Contract Business Analyst who has experience of Client Data Models/MDM.
About the Role
Experience from a data perspective (e.g. Client Data Modelling / MDM / Data Governance) will be essential
Strong experience in designing/implementing client data models within Asset Managers (for CRMs) will have the advantage. Youβll need to have a good mix of business/technical skills as you will be expected to work with Distribution/Client Service/Finance stakeholders to understand their requirements and then design/implement with Data & Technology specialists.
Responsibilities
β’ Experienced analysis for the Global Client Data Model, including legal entities, organisational hierarchies, relationships and identifiers (e.g. DUNS / LEI where applicable).
β’ Work with business stakeholders (Distribution, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Data Office) to define enterprise-level client definitions, attributes and hierarchy rules.
β’ Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for client mastering, enrichment, matching, survivorship and data quality.
β’ Support the design of the Enterprise Client Master operating model, including stewardship roles, governance processes and data ownership.
β’ Collaborate closely with Data, Architecture, Engineering, UX and CRM BAs to ensure alignment between business requirements, data models and platform capabilities.
β’ Contribute to decisions on Build vs Buy for MDM / Client Master tooling and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Required experience
β’ Strong understanding of Asset Management operating models, including institutional and wholesale distribution, client servicing, and fund structures.
β’ Experience working in B2B business contexts, with complex client organisations, multiβentity relationships and longβcycle sales and servicing models.
β’ Understanding of how clients, consultants, intermediaries, mandates and legal entities are represented and related within Asset Management firms.
β’ Produce high-quality analysis artefacts including: Data definitions and logical data models, Hierarchy and relationship rules, Business rules and acceptance criteria, JIRA Features, Stories and Acceptance Criteria (Feature β Story β AC).
β’ Support testing and validation of mastered client data within Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud 360 and downstream analytics (e.g. Tableau).
Preferred Skills
β’ Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, MDM platforms, or client/entity mastering solutions.
β’ Experience working with external data providers (e.g. Dun & Bradstreet, LEI, reference data).
β’ Financial Services or Asset Management experience (beneficial but not essential).
β’ Familiarity with data governance, stewardship models and regulatory considerations.
6 months contract ( extendable )
