Business Analyst – Project Lead (EHR / Cerner)

Job Title: Business Analyst – Project Lead (EHR / Cerner) (10854) Location: Remote (Initial onsite in Cayce, SC + Quarterly visits) Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible) Interview: 1 Round – Video (Camera On) Key Responsibilities • Lead Cerner EHR (PowerChart) implementation, including system optimization, testing, and validation • Perform Cerner build activities (PowerNote, PowerForm, PowerPlan, Dynamic Docs) • Act as subject matter expert (SME) across multiple Cerner modules • Lead technical analysis discussions and deliver documentation/artifacts • Troubleshoot complex issues including: • FSI (Foreign System Integration) • Interface issues (HL7, bidirectional integrations) • Develop and maintain: • Custom reports using Cerner CCL • Knowledge management documentation • Training materials • Support application lifecycle (SDLC) including testing, deployment, validation • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams on workflows and system improvements • Monitor data quality, system usage, and reporting trends • Provide user training, onboarding, and support • Maintain SharePoint documentation and system artifacts • Ensure compliance with security policies (NIST, FISMA, etc.) Required Skills • 5+ years of experience with Healthcare IT Systems & Application Support • 5+ years as an IT Systems Analyst • 5+ years experience with HL7 Interface / Messaging • 5+ years experience with FSI (Foreign Systems Integration) • 5+ years experience with Cerner Olympus • 5+ years experience in report development / compiling reports Preferred Skills • Cerner CCL (Cerner Command Language) • Cerner HNA (HealtheIntent / Network Access) • Cerner Bedrock • Cerner Remedy • Cerner Reference Lab Network (RLN) • Cerner Work Queue Manager (WQM) • Cerner Remote Report Distribution (RRD) • JavaScript • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) • MS Outlook & SharePoint Education • Bachelor’s degree in: • Computer Science / Information Systems / Public Health • OR • Equivalent experience (5+ years in related field)
