Business Analyst – 12 Months Contract

Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

Salary up to £48,000 (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a leading organisation within the service sector on a 12-months contract basis.

This role will be key in supporting performance reporting, data analysis, and the development of tools to help drive insight and improve efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

   • Analyse and interpret large datasets to support financial and performance reporting

   • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using SQL and/or Power BI

   • Work closely with finance teams to extract meaningful insights from complex data

   • Build tools to support forecasting, trend analysis, and other decision-making processes

   • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement

   • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data used in reporting

What You’ll Bring:

   • Strong experience working with large and complex datasets

   • Proven skills in SQL and/or Power BI

   • Ideally experience working within or alongside a finance or accounting team (desirable but not essential).

   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

   • Ability to communicate insights effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

   • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
