Role Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in ServiceNow’s Record Information Management (RIM) capabilities. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing record-level data processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across ServiceNow modules.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow RIM, including record lifecycle management, data governance, and compliance requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements for record creation, updates, retention, and archival processes.
• Analyze existing workflows and perform gap analysis to recommend improvements for record handling and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and system administrators to design and implement RIM solutions.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation to support development and testing.
• Ensure proper security and access controls for sensitive records in alignment with organizational policies.
• Support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and validate implemented RIM enhancements for accuracy and compliance.
• This person will help Implement RIM policies in SNOW to delete old information and save platform space
• This person will help parse through policies/needs; meeting with business members to figure out what to keep or can be deleted
• This person will need to be detail oriented, helpful in policy/privacy information
• Don’t need to know all workflows in SNOW (stories won’t be extremely complex) but understanding what can be deleted in what intervals is the most important
Skills & Requirements
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow environments.
• Strong understanding of Record Information Management (RIM) principles
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to data retention and audit requirements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow stories).
• Retention experience in SNOW would be excellent but not required.
