Role description
📊 Contract Business Analyst | Private Equity | Data | AI & SaaS | Outside IR35 📊
Role: Business Analyst (Contract)
Rate: up to £590 p/d (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12-month contract (likely to extend)
Location: Central London – 3 days p/w in office
We’re partnered with a leading global investment firm operating across private equity and credit markets, who are looking for a Business Analyst to join their central change team.
This is a hands-on role sitting within a lean, fast-moving environment where you’ll support the delivery of multiple SaaS and internally built technology initiatives. The team operates in a small, high-ownership structure, so they need someone comfortable working with ambiguity and getting close to delivery.
There is also a strong focus on data, AI and automation, with growing adoption of AI tools and data-driven platforms across the firm 🤖
What you’ll be doing
• Working across multiple workstreams to define and document business and functional requirements
• Supporting SaaS implementations and internal platform rollouts across private equity and credit
• Working closely with engineering teams on data flows, integrations and APIs
• Supporting UAT, testing and release readiness activities
• Operating in a small, agile-style central change team with high visibility to senior stakeholders
• Identifying and supporting opportunities to apply AI and automation across workflows and delivery processes
They’re looking for
• Business Analyst experience within private equity, private markets or wider financial services
• Strong exposure to data-led projects (data platforms, reporting, migration, or integration work)
• Experience working in small teams or early-stage / high-ambiguity environments
• Track record supporting SaaS implementations or platform delivery programmes
• Comfortable working with technical concepts such as APIs, integrations and data flows
• Some exposure to AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) and interest in practical application within delivery
This is a highly visible role in a globally recognised investment firm, offering exposure to a wide range of transformation initiatives and the chance to shape how AI and data are used across the business.
