Business Analyst - Senior

Our client, a leader in innovative financial services, is seeking a Business Analyst - Senior to join their team. As a Business Analyst - Senior, you will be part of the Business Transformation Department supporting the Operations and Technology teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, curiosity about emerging technologies, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Business Analyst - Senior Location: Austin, TX Pay Range:$56 What's the Job? • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories. • Support the development and refinement of requirements for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) systems, including OCR/ML data extraction and AI-driven workflows. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define use cases, activation strategies, and success criteria for AI and automation initiatives. • Document requirements for data payload generation and ensure seamless integration with downstream systems and automation processes. • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. What's Needed? • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or operations environment. • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, including developing epics, user stories, and business rules. • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for requirements management and collaboration. • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, developer-ready user stories. • Exposure to AI/GenAI, OCR/ML tools, or document automation technologies is a plus, but not mandatory.
