Role description
Job Title: Business Analyst with strong Mortgage‑Backed Securities (MBS)
Location: 240 Greenwich St, Floor 20, New York, NY 10286
Duration: 6 Months Contract with Possible of extension
(4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Job Description:
• Studies and Analyses Related to Client’s Transition from Pool‑Level to Loan‑Level Mortgage‑Backed Securities (MBS) Program Client assessing an enterprise‑wide transition from a pool‑level Mortgage‑Backed Securities (MBS) program to a loan‑level MBS program.
• This shift has broad implications for operational processes, technology architecture, data management, and the Client responsibilities as the Pool Processing Agent (PPA) Central Paying and Transfer Agent (CPTA) under the MBS Issuance and Bond Administration (MBSIBA) contract.
• This Statement of Work (SOW) directs Client to conduct a coordinated set of studies, assessments, and technical analyses associated with Task 9 and Task 10 of the contract to ensure the PPA, CPTA, Ginnie Mae, and issuer community are prepared for loan‑level MSR transfers, pooling, and downstream investor reporting, payments, and processing.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, product, or project delivery
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC ways of working
• Experience with requirement documentation and stakeholder engagement
• Business and process skills,
• Requirements gathering
• Business process mapping
• Gap analysis, Root cause analysis

• Operating model understanding
• Financial services, Mortgage or banking experience
