Job Title: Business Analyst – Supply Chain Ops (Plan & Buy)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract, W2 only
Eligibility: US Citizens or Green Card holders
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain digital transformation project. The role will focus on Advanced Planning & Procure-to-Pay processes as part of the SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analyze current processes, and design future-state workflows to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct process analysis and mapping using Lucidchart, Visio, or similar tools.
• Create detailed process diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation for current and future-state processes.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather and validate requirements.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and procurement teams to optimize product configurations.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and support ERP configuration aligned with SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze and improve procurement workflows including Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Source-to-Pay, and Supplier Collaboration.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Partner with SAP solution architects to ensure alignment with best practices and scalable solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users for successful adoption of new ERP processes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present status reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation projects.
• Functional experience in Supply Chain Operations – Forecast to Plan and Procure-to-Pay.
• Strong expertise in process mapping and documentation using Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba/Business Network, and SAP IBP.
• Knowledge of BPM methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPMN) is a plus.
• Experience with procurement KPIs, supplier performance management, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Hybrid project methodologies.
• Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Supply Chain, or related field. Master’s preferred.
