Role description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Technology Service Analyst with deep expertise in Salesforce and nCino to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders and support the design, optimization, and delivery of scalable technology solutions. This individual will translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements while ensuring alignment with business processes, regulatory expectations, and strategic objectives in a commercial banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and strategic goals
• Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process‑mapping exercises
• Document functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Analyze current‑state processes and recommend improvements leveraging Salesforce and nCino capabilities
Salesforce & nCino Solution Support
• Translate business requirements into well‑defined solution designs using Salesforce and nCino best practices
• Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, and nCino configuration teams to enhance system functionality
• Configure Salesforce and nCino components as appropriate (page layouts, fields, validation rules, workflows, etc.)
• Support integrations with core banking systems and third‑party applications
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for enhancements and new functionality
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and release validation
• Ensure solution deliverables meet business requirements and regulatory or audit standards
Project & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as a liaison between technology teams, operations, product groups, and external vendors
• Provide status updates, risk identification, and project tracking support
• Assist with change management, training, and deployment communications
Data, Reporting & Compliance
• Support data quality initiatives including cleansing, migration, mapping, and validation
• Assist with reporting and dashboard needs using Salesforce data models
• Ensure all solutions align with security, risk, compliance, and governance standards
Required Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of business analysis experience, ideally within financial services or fintech
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud)
• Strong working knowledge of nCino, particularly Commercial Loan Origination and/or Portfolio Management
• Experience creating user stories, functional requirements, and process flows using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, or similar)
• nCino certifications or implementation experience with a certified partner
• Understanding of banking processes such as credit underwriting, loan origination, onboarding, KYC, and operations
• Experience with data and integration tools (SOQL, Data Loader, SQL, ETL platforms)
• Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and middleware technologies
