Job Summary
Our clientβs Enterprise Applications PMO is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the further integration of ServiceNow and Workday platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and coordinating between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective integration of HR and IT service management systems. This role will be imbedded in the Service Now team.
POSITION IS ONSITE 4 DAYS A WEEK IN AUSTIN, TX.
β’ Firm requirement, no flex on this schedule.
β’ Key Responsibilities
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements related to the integration of ServiceNow and Workday β the ask is more for follow-ups and being able to form and maintain RIDACs for key functionality).
β’ Analyze and map business processes to identify integration points and process improvements.
β’ Work with technical teams to define data flows, interface requirements, and transformation logic between the two platforms.
β’ Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
β’ Document use cases, process flows, business rules, and technical specifications.
β’ Support testing activities including test case development, UAT coordination, and defect tracking.
β’ Scrum Coordination:
β’ Sprint Planning
β’ Story Scoping
β’ Acceptance Criteria Definition
β’ Story accuracy
β’ Blocker tracking
β’ Story Sequencing
β’ Track Service Now / Workday integration project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates to project leadership.
β’ Serve as a liaison between Service Now team and the Reporting / Integrations Workday 2.0 team ensuring accurate and timely communication and alignment across key program milestones.
Qualifications & Skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
β’ 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise application integration projects.
β’ Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and/or Workday platforms.
β’ Strong understanding of HRIS systems and IT Service Management processes.
β’ Experience in process mapping, data analysis, and system documentation.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, or similar.
