Business Analyst

Job Title: IT Business Analyst (Applications Focus) Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to support a portfolio of business applications by partnering closely with stakeholders, mapping processes, and driving continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and comfortable bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable documentation • Conduct stakeholder interviews to map current-state and future-state business processes across various applications • Perform data validation and analysis using SQL and Excel to ensure data accuracy and integrity • Lead process design and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and user experience • Support application-related projects, including enhancements, implementations, and upgrades • Participate in and help coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and issue tracking • Troubleshoot basic application issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution • Develop and deliver end-user training for new systems or enhancements as needed Required Qualifications • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting multiple applications or systems • Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement • Proficiency in SQL (intermediate level – querying, data extraction, validation) • Strong Excel skills (data validation, analysis, basic modeling) • Experience supporting UAT cycles and working with cross-functional teams • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Yardi or similar ERP/property management systems is a plus • Experience supporting application implementations or system rollouts • Background in process improvement or optimization initiatives
