π MDM Business Analyst β Dunstable, UK (Hybrid | 3 Days Onsite)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Master Data Management (MDM) initiative within a Food & Beverage (F&B) environment. The role will focus on defining, analysing, and managing business requirements and data processes to enable consistent, high-quality master data across systems and business functions.
π Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead requirements gathering activities with business stakeholders across F&B functions (e.g., procurement, menu management, supply chain, operations)
β’ Define and manage scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business priorities
β’ Conduct detailed business and process analysis, identifying current-state challenges and defining future-state processes
β’ Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and data requirements
β’ Support the design and implementation of MDM solutions, including data domains such as products, suppliers, recipes, and locations
β’ Collaborate with data, technical, and integration teams to ensure requirements are feasible and correctly implemented
β’ Develop process maps, data flows, and business documentation (BRDs, user stories, etc.)
β’ Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and playback sessions
β’ Support data governance initiatives, including data standards, definitions, and quality rules
β’ Assist in testing activities (UAT planning, execution, defect management)
β’ Ensure traceability of requirements through delivery lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience
β’ Minimum 5 yearsβ experience as a Business Analyst
β’ Strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data-focused projects
β’ Proven experience working within the Food & Beverage (F&B) or hospitality domain
β’ Solid understanding of business analysis frameworks, tools, and methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
β’ Experience in requirements management, scope control, and stakeholder management
β’ Strong business process modelling skills (e.g., BPMN, process mapping)
β’ Experience working with data structures, data models, and data flows
β’ Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively
β’ Strong communication and facilitation skills
Desirable Skills
β’ Experience with F&B systems such as POS (e.g., Micros/Simphony), inventory, or supply chain platforms
β’ Exposure to data governance frameworks and data quality tools
β’ Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, ETL, data pipelines)
β’ Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar
