Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
β’ Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
β’ Work with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
β’ Conduct process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessment.
β’ Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
β’ Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to clarify requirements.
β’ Ensure proper documentation of requirements, workflows, and process diagrams.
β’ Assist in UAT planning and execution with business users.
Required Skills
β’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
β’ Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
β’ Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
β’ Knowledge of business process modelling tools (BPMN, Visio, or similar).
β’ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Experience creating BRD, FRD, and user stories.
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain.
β’ Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
β’ Experience working with digital transformation or technology implementation projects.
β’ Knowledge of data analysis or reporting tools.
Qualification
Bachelorβs degree in Business, IT, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
