Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, transforming them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear delivery artefacts. • Work with Product Owners and Technical Leads to prioritise the backlog, shape delivery scope, and maintain alignment with sprint plans and roadmaps. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Produce high-quality documentation such as functional specs, process maps (BPMN 2.0), use cases, and data requirement artefacts. • Assess business processes, identify gaps, challenge inefficiencies, and propose improved future-state workflows. • Support operating model definition — both current state and target state — across technology change initiatives. • Collaborate with architects to ensure requirements align with strategic technology direction and integration patterns. • Manage change impacts, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams. • Run workshops with stakeholders using structured BA techniques and methods. Essential Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on technology, software delivery, or platform modernisation projects. • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and supporting iterative development. • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and modern collaboration tools. • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive clarity. • Ability to produce structured BA artefacts (BPMN, process flows, functional specs, wireframes, data definitions). • Comfortable working across complex environments with multiple teams and dependencies. • Degree-level education and/or professional BA certifications (BCS, IIBA, CBAP). Desirable Experience • Exposure to technology strategy, enterprise or solution architecture. • Understanding of data models, integrations, and data quality considerations. • Experience supporting Agile delivery in hybrid/Waterfall environments. • Knowledge of DevOps or CI/CD principles. • Awareness of resource planning or project management frameworks. Security & Working Pattern • Active SC Clearance Preferred • Hybrid working with mandatory on-site presence in London twice per week.
