Position Overview eNGINE is seeking a Business Analyst to join a growing technology organization supporting critical initiatives across the banking industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, translating operational needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive successful project outcomes. The Business Analyst will work closely with business leaders, project teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, create documentation, and ensure solutions align with both business objectives and long-term technology strategy. Current initiatives include enhancements to an existing contact center platform, improvements to internal banking applications, and future involvement in a multi-year core banking modernization effort. Responsibilities • Partner with business units and technology teams to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. • Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements. • Produce clear and detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and supporting project artifacts. • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate and lead requirements meetings, workshops, and review sessions across multiple departments. • Ensure business needs are clearly communicated and accurately translated into technology solutions. • Support projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and proactively manage expectations throughout project execution. • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential project impacts while recommending solutions and mitigation strategies. • Support change management processes and ensure adherence to established project governance standards. • Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to business analysis practices, project processes, and documentation standards. • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices for requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered. • 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Requirements Analyst role. • Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and system requirements. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Proven ability to create detailed documentation and communicate complex concepts clearly. • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and delivery frameworks. • Formal Business Analysis training or certification is a plus. Preferred Experience • Experience supporting technology projects within banking or financial services environments. • Experience working with internal business applications, system integrations, or enterprise software initiatives. • Familiarity with large-scale modernization projects, core banking platforms, or legacy system transformations. • Previous experience supporting enterprise-wide projects involving multiple stakeholder groups and business units.
