Business Analyst -Tolling

Title: Business Analyst -Tolling Location: Orlando, FL or Boca Raton, FL Duration: Long term • • ONSITE • • Job Description: Gather, document, and validate business requirements for tolling system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for IT and vendor teams. Conduct gap analyses between existing processes and proposed solutions. Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of tolling system updates, including back-office, roadside, and customer service systems. Support system configuration, data validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshoot operational and system issues and coordinate with vendors or internal IT for resolution. Analyze toll transaction data to identify process bottlenecks, errors, or revenue leakage. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for toll operations and customer service. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with finance, customer service, and IT departments to ensure end-to-end alignment of tolling operations. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Support training and documentation for new system functionalities or business processes. Prepare and maintain reports on toll transactions, system performance, and exception handling. Ensure compliance with tolling regulations, audit requirements, and data security standards. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Transportation Management, or related field. Experience: 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in tolling, transportation, or payment systems. Experience with toll collection systems (e.g., TransCore, Kapsch, Conduent, or similar) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of business process modeling, data analysis, and system testing. Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
