Business Analyst, Treasury Systems
Position Summary
The Business Analyst, Treasury Systems serves as a key liaison between Treasury business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting treasury operations, capital markets activities, cash management processes, and financial systems initiatives. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, supporting debt portfolio administration, facilitating payment and wire processing workflows, and driving process improvements through technology enhancements and automation.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with treasury, accounting, banking, or financial systems experience. This individual will collaborate closely with Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to optimize treasury operations, ensure data integrity, and support strategic financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations & Capital Markets Support (30%)
• Provide analytical and operational support for treasury activities, including debt management, capital markets transactions, and treasury system enhancements.
• Assist with treasury reporting, cash management initiatives, and financial transaction administration.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of treasury process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Debt Portfolio Administration & Documentation (25%)
• Develop, maintain, and reconcile debt and derivative portfolio records, trackers, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, workflows, business requirements, and system specifications.
• Monitor debt-related transactions and ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management (20%)
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for treasury systems and related applications.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Partner with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Payment Processing & Financial Operations Support (10%)
• Prepare and review wire transfer documentation and supporting approvals.
• Support supplier setup and maintenance within financial systems.
• Assist with payment processing procedures while ensuring compliance with internal controls and treasury policies.
Technology Initiatives & Process Automation (10%)
• Participate in treasury technology projects, system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline treasury workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Support testing, implementation, training, and post-deployment activities.
Compliance & KYC Support (5%)
• Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation requests and banking compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and banking relationships.
• Ensure adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
Additional Responsibilities
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Experience supporting treasury operations, financial systems, debt portfolio administration, or cash management activities preferred.
• Exposure to capital markets, wire processing, financial reporting, or banking operations is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
